Campaign Calendar Feature
Customize campaigns and schedule a unique send date
tinyAlbert users can send campaigns with user-defined schedules. You decide how many campaigns to send per week. You can also set the send time.
If you want, send multiple campaigns during the same day but at different times. That's a great feature for seasonal holidays or special events like Black Friday.
If you love the fully automated system where our AI auto-generates campaigns and sends dates, you're still good. That feature hasn't changed.
Our Calendar tool blends AI automation and user customization. It's a three-step process that takes about three minutes (or less) to complete.
Log into your store, open the tinyAlbert app, and click Calendar.
Click the month/year button and select the next month to display planned campaign messages. (I'm writing this article in August, so I select September.) tinyAlbert shows all the upcoming campaigns for that period.
The default display is a List view. You can change the display to a Calendar view.
The Calendar page shows the Scheduled Date for each planned campaign. You can change that date and configure other settings.
On the List view:
If you're using the Calendar view:
To display the Settings option, make sure the campaign Status is Not Activated. It's not possible to edit settings when the campaign is Activated.
On the Settings page, you can edit several fields.
Use the icons to schedule a different send date and time (all based on your local conditions).
Click the field and set your audience for this campaign. You can send the campaign to Only subscribers (the people who signed up with a tinyAlbert opt-in form) or to All, which includes subscribers and Shopify contacts.
Click the Next to save the campaign and open the Preview panel. Here, you can review the message and subject line, send a test message, open the Editor, regenerate the entire message, or (if it all looks good) click Activate & Close.
After updating and activating, tinyAlbert shows the message on the Calendar page and Campaigns page.
You can edit and manage a customized campaign message - like any template. Open the Editor tool and change the design, layout, or copy.
If you check the box next to a campaign name on the Calendar page, three buttons display. Use these buttons to activate or deactivate campaigns. There is also a Delete button, but I can't recommend using that right now. If you delete a campaign, it's not possible to undo that action or create a new one.
Our developers are working on a feature that lets users create a campaign from scratch. Coming soon!
That's it.
Now you know how to use the Calendar tool to customize campaign messages and schedule a user-defined send date.
