Customize tinyAlbert Messages

Use the editor to add your personal touch

Great news for fans of personalized email marketing.

Now, you can customize any campaign message with the tinyAlbert editor. Replace an image, tweak the copy, add a link, or change the subject line. You decide how to take the message to the next level!

You can also customize tinyAlbert automations. Click here to learn more.

Opening the editor

The first step is to open the editor.

  1. Open the Campaigns page and select an active message. (You can't edit an expired message.)
  2. Click the three-dot icon and select Edit.

The editor tool opens. There are four main areas to focus on.

  1. Subject Line - Click the pencil icon to edit the text in the subject line. You can also remove and add emojis.
  2. Menu bar - When you select a text element, a menu bar displays at the top of the message. Use these tools to style text and add links.
  3. Canvas - The canvas shows each part of the message. Move the mouse across the message, and you can see each separate element (e.g. containers and blocks).
  4. Side Panel - Each element is connected to the side panel, which holds the design tools. In the example below, the side panel displays tools to edit a text block (e.g. alignment and padding).

A few important notes

After you edit a message and save the changes, be sure to click the Activate button. This locks in the changes you made to that message. If you edit a message, leave it deactivated, and then click the Regenerate button, your edits will be lost.

You can customize the footer in a message. Those changes do not affect the footer in other messages. If you want to change the address information in the footer of all messages, edit the sender details. Click here to learn more.

At this moment, it's possible to remove the Unsubscribe button in the footer. I urge you not to remove that link. The Unsubscribe link is required. Messages without an Unsubscribe link are non-compliant, which could lead to some uncomfortable conversations. It also looks damn unprofessional.

  • BTW  Our dev team is working on a solution to prevent people from removing the unsubscribe link, but it takes a bit of time.
