If you have a business domain email address based on a WordPress.com site, you can easily update your sender identity in your tinyAlbert account. Then, you can register a DKIM.

Signing up for a DKIM

  1. Log in to your WordPress.com account.
  2. Open the Manage Your DNS Records page.
  3. Locate and click your purchased domain name.
  4. Go to set up DNS records. 
  5. Click Add a record.

To add a CNAME record, enter the values you see below in those fields. Then click Add DNS record. While saving the record, you might see a warning message. Just click Yes.

  • Type: CNAME
  • Name (Host): tec1._domainkey
  • Alias Of (Points To): tec1.dkim.tinyemail.com
  • TTL: 3600


In this example, I manually enter tec1._domainkey. WordPress auto-fecthes the domain (e.g. .altcurrentpress.com).

Configuring the tinyAlbert account

  1. Open tinyAlbert.
  2. Click the account icon and select the DKIM menu tab.
  3. Go to the Sender domain drop-down and choose your domain.
  4. Click the Check link.

If DKIM is successfully set up, the status changes to DKIM verified. If you have a problem, contact our support team.

Setting up and verifying a DKIM record does not take much time, but it does yield great rewards. You're in compliance, and can rest easy that you've reduced the risk of getting tagged as a spammer.
